Starsys, Inc., a SpaceDev Company, builds complex systems that move in space and had a critical role in the Mars Rover expedition among other space missions. This large-scale project actually involved three separate modules on CD: Beginning Training for Space Flight Work Procedures, Advanced Training and "Process Procedures". The combination involved over a week of on-location video shooting, green screen video, voice-over narration and hundreds of photos weaved inside a very technical script.
The resulting project has allowed Starsys to standardize its training and provide a benchmark for their internal curriculum development. It may not seem too big, but one mistake in the manufacturing can cost people's lives and hundreds of millions of dollars. This interactive training significantly helps them avert that risk.
